Taught in a fun and casual atmosphere by local artist Aaron Delehanty, Beginning Painting is intended as a solid introduction to painting, from the ground up. Emphasis is on such fundamental concepts as color and composition, brushstroke, the nature of paint, as well as the basic painting process. Tuesdays class is open to all levels but particularly targeted for beginners while Thursdays class is open to all levels, from those who have little to no exposure to painting, to those who have a history but lack the space and the encouragement. This class has the flexibility needed to suit the needs of each student, and above all will be enlightening, inspirational & fun. Each student to provide their own materials, although samples will be given out for those curious about something in particular. To ensure comfortable surroundings, space is limited to 8 students, so sign up early.
