"Primarily interested in the figure, my influences range from Giacometti and Basquiat to skateboard graphics and a shabby city block. I try to find the beautiful in the banal. The modern man made world is in a constant state of deterioration. I like to bring this temporal element into my compositions. Painting, scraping, drawing, repainting and experimentation leave me with a multi-layered, often intense visual explanation of my take on the human condition.
